We have an exciting week ahead with a football game on Friday and the Hi-Plains Marching Contest on Saturday.
Please get your meal order done by the end of band on Thursday. We will hope for a regular game day routine on Friday (no rain-out).
Our schedule for Saturday is shown below. The attachment shows the performance times for the entire festival. Gate admission is $5 for prelims and $5 for finals. We hope that you will be able to come out and watch a great day of band competition.
This competition is one of the highlights of the marching season and is truly a showcase of the very best bands in our area.
1:00-meet for rehearsal
2:15- load, change into uniforms
2:45 - leave for stadium
3-4:00 - unload, warm-up in parking lot
4:20 - at the ramp
4:40 -ready position
5:00- prelim performance
Award ceremony, announcement of finals- around 5:30
Dinner/ prep for finals
Depending on our finals performance time, we will return to school or eat at the stadium
Award presentation at conclusion of finals- back at AHS around 10.
